The service has been running for 16 years and has helped over 1 500 people to flee domestic abuse and now runs in greater london the home counties east anglia yorkshire the north east the north west and scotland.
Our hope project provides help with the cost of veterinary treatment for any dog whose owner is homeless. The service places dogs into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners are able to have them back. Instead of walking 500 miles one local aberdeenshire resident has chosen to cycle in aid of dogs trust.
